 These are shots that I took with just the sealer coats on it. The sapele back and sides have lots of ribbon striping like you asked for!  It's a very lively figure, one that moves and shimmers with just the slightest movement of the guitar. Photos don't do it justice.      
         
 The Red spruce top is hard to photograph also. The rosette.....  The Oak bindings and herringbone purflings...      
         
And here it is with 5 coats of lacquer.....
         
  The spruce looks really white, but there is a light aging toner on it, and it will yellow naturally on its own within a year or two. 

There's a green stripe in the rosette, just for the sake of conversation. It is very subtle.....

 The color has deepend some, showing off the figure even more.
