Making a neck template, part II

This is pretty good; we can see a bit of light showing through, but the shape is obvious. Now, trim the template so that it arrives flush with the edges of the fretboard; this will determine the neck's depth If we don't have a contour gauge, a template can still easily be made by the old cut and try method.
We simply cut a rough shape, and continue to refine it until we have a good fitting template. Getting there..... Got it! Now we need to make one to fit at the 1st, 5th and 9th fret.

See? Nothing to it!<g>
