Sloped Shoulder Dreadnought Model Guitars

The slope
shouldered dreadnought has been around a long time, and for good reason;
it's a great design!
I offer two versions of this time honored body style.
The first is traditionally sized, with all the great bass response and
superb rhythm tone that would be expected, yet it will never be out of
place if asked to pick a little lead; a very versatile instrument. |

The second offering in this style is my modified slope
shouldered dreadnought. Originally conceived with the help of Miss Dale
Ann Bradley, of "Dale Ann Bradley and Coon Creek" fame, it's
been made smaller in the upper bout, with a slightly tighter waist area,
all in the name of comfort.

While playing comfort was the primary motivator in the
design, we've also taken extra steps to ensure that the tone and power
were not adversely affected. By keeping the all important lower bout
just about the same size as a traditional dreadnought, we've been able
to achieve our goals of comfort with minimal compromises. |
